The buyer must understand and accept that the inspection is limited to visible defects, and the inspector cannot be responsible for hidden problems that it would not be reasonable for him to detect in a brief visual inspection, or for any defects that would take a technical expert to notice.
Still, the inspector is given a chance to look over the property much more closely than the buyer was when he toured the place prior to the offer, and the inspector has special expertise at spotting problems.
The home inspector will meet with the customer at the appointed time at the inspection site. A home inspection typically takes about 2-3 hours perhaps longer depending on the condition of the property. Once the inspection is completed you will receive a report with digital pictures.
